Fake AVG Antivirus 2011 infection is a newly released virus that's been created to try and mimic the real AVG tool. It must be noted that this virus is NOT associated, endorsed or connected to AVG in any way. This virus works by showing you a series of fake scanning results in an attempt to con you into buying the rogue upgrade to the infection. Despite looking legitimate, it's a scam which should be removed as completely as possible to ensure the continued smooth operation of your PC.
